An evidence-based path to processing the past and building a flourishing future.
what is emdr?
EMDR Therapy is an evidence-based approach that helps individuals process past events and experiences — including traumatic events, grief & loss, and complex trauma — to help build a strong foundation for a flourishing future.
As a psychotherapy, EMDR has been extensively researched and found to be an effective method of treatment for cPTSD, PTSD, anxiety and depression. EMDR has also been shown to help individuals who are struggling with grief, disordered eating, and negative self-talk.
heather's approach
Heather brings a relational, somatic, and belief-focused stance to EMDR therapy. She has found EMDR to be a powerful approach to support healing, rewire limiting beliefs, and increase one's belief in themselves.
Heather completed her EMDRIA-approved EMDR Basic Training with Envision Counseling & Consulting, and integrates EMDR within a broader attachment-focused and trauma-informed practice.
