Many extended health plans cover sessions with a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) or Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC). Coverage varies by provider and plan, so we recommend contacting your insurance provider to confirm that RCC/CCC services are covered. After each session you will receive a detailed receipt that you can submit to your provider for reimbursement.
No — MSP does not cover counselling services provided by Registered Clinical Counsellors. These services are typically paid out-of-pocket or through extended health benefits.
