Your family's imperfections make it unique

The focus of Heather's family work is relationship strengthening and building. Working from attachment-focused and emotionally focused models, she helps families problem solve and create connection between partners and children, change old patterns, and find new paths to working together in dynamic ways that work best for your family.

With this uniqueness comes diversity and specialised care needs. Heather has in-depth skills and knowledge supporting families of all shapes and sizes — including caregivers of neurodivergent children, tweens, teens and young adults.

Support for the moments that reshape a family

separation & divorce

The end of a relationship reshapes the whole family. Heather supports partners and parents in navigating separation and divorce with care — reducing conflict, strengthening co-parenting relationships, and helping children and parents alike find steady ground through the transition.

loss of a family member

When a family loses someone, each person grieves differently — and the family system itself changes. Heather supports families in grieving together and separately, holding space for each voice while helping the family find its way forward. See also grief & loss.

building connection

Family work isn't only for times of crisis. Heather works with families who want to deepen understanding, strengthen communication between parents and children, and build the kind of secure, connected relationships that carry a family through whatever comes.
